April, 2013, EDGERTON — Ribstone Creek Brewery is working hard to meet demand as cans of Ribstone Creek Lager are flying off Alberta store shelves.
“We’ve got our canning line running full tilt and stores have been snapping them up as fast as we can make the beer to fill them,” said Ribstone Creek president Don Paré. “Demand is outpacing supply at the moment and we sure appreciate the excitement and interest.”
Ribstone Creek has been inundated with calls, emails, tweets and Facebook messages from beer fans anxious to get their hands on some cans.
Ribstone founders and staff are encouraging people to ask their local liquor stores to stock Ribstone Creek Lager, which can be ordered at any Alberta liquor retail location. Anxious beer seekers can also go online to www.liquorconnect.com to view which outlets are stocking cans of Ribstone Creek Lager.
“We’ve been blown away away by the response to the release of our first canned product,” said Rib- stone brewmaster Anthony Richardson. “It’s a real boost for me and the crew here to see so many people clamouring for our beer this early in the game. We know it’s great beer and it seems like the rest of the world has now caught on.”
