Ribstone Creek founders hold 2013 AGM
EDGERTON, Alta. — With Ribstone Creek Lager set to hit Alberta liquor stores later this month, brewery founders met in Edgerton to reflect on the year past and formulate a strategy for the year ahead.
The Ribstone crew ploughed through a plethora of agenda items ranging from marketing and sales to the introduction of new beers.
"It's always great to get our team together and do a little brainstorming," said RCB president Don Paré. "We've brought together a bright, ambitious group of people and everyone is ready to roll up their sleeves for what is sure to be a very busy 2013."
RCB brewmaster Anthony Richardson has been hard at work in the Edgerton brewhouse since the equipment was delivered and set up in mid December.
Renovation work is continuing at Ribstone Creek headquarters. The area designated as the future tap room is nearing completion and founders hope to have the work completed for a public open house in the spring.
Now on tap in nearly 20 locations, inquiries about Ribstone Creek beer are coming in daily.
"We fully expect to have our hands full once the cans hit liquor stores," said RCB founder Alvin Gordon.
