EDMONTON, Alta. — During the month of November, Edmonton-area beer fans will be able to grab themselves a growler of Ribstone Creek Lager from two new liquor super centres on Currents Drive in Windermere and Emerald Drive in Sherwood Park.
Growlers are 64oz. glass jugs that can be refilled with fresh keg brews. Growlers have become a popular new trend among beer drinkers and Ribstone Creek Brewery was thrilled to partner up with Wine & Beyond this November.
“It’s great to be part of something so innovative. Beer fans here in Edmonton are already embracing growlers in a big way,” said Ribstone Creek Brewery brewmaster Anthony Richardson. “Filling a jug straight from the tap allows beer fans to savour some of the more subtle flavours of our beer.”
Wine & Beyond carries more than 1,800 varieties of beers, as well as 6,000 wines and 2,500 spirits. The store stocks international and domestic wines, liquor products from around the globe and specially chosen products available only at Wine & Beyond.
Customers are encouraged to refill their own take-home jug with local brews. Beer selections rotate frequently. Come in and try a complimentary sample before you buy the 32oz. howler or the 64oz. growler.
